Name?   

Well this is an easy one to answer!  - My name is Nikki Smith

Favorite craft? 

I love crafting full stop - I love trying out lots of new things and techniques - i could never get bored of crafting! My all time fav that I keep going back to is paper though.... so paper folding, card making etc

How long have you been crafting?

I have been crafting since I was tiny - my Mum always had us making things. I have been card making for over 15 years.

Do you have a blog? 

Oh I love blogging... my blog is over at www.what-nikki-did-next.blogspot.com ( one of my favourite book when I was young was What Katy Did Next so that inspired the name).

What made you start blogging about your hobby?

 I really got into blogging a few years ago as an online diary - it was all about the things we got up to as a family etc. My blog now is all about my crafting journey as people wanted to have somewhere to see what I had created or to follow tutorials or to see where I would be demoing next and they wanted it all in one place.

Who has inspired you in the craft world?

 I get inspired every day but those people who are new to crafting - who think they can't, but with a little help.... find out they can. I have a lot of very talented friends who are designers too. I find them very inspiring.

Do you belong to any craft group on social media?

 I created the Crafting Cafe on facebook, a place where crafters of any kind or level can get together and chat or share their blog posts. We also, as of this year, now have a crafting cafe blog. I love craft groups on social media, as I can't get to local groups they become my local group. I think I am on about15 facebook groups.

Do you take part in craft challenges or on any design teams? 

I love a crafty challenge and will often play along with any I find.
I am on the DT for Do Crafts and WOW! embossing powders. I am also on the DT for the Crafting Cafe, Odd & Soxlets and Ellephantastic.

Where do you craft?

 I am lucky enough to have a craft room. Full of wonderful crafty goodies. The view from my window is amazing - nature is very inspiring to me.

When do you find time to craft?

 I often can be found crafting into the small hours of the morning. I suffer from ill health & pain and insomnia so crafting gives me something else to focus on.

Favorite Stash? 

Another question that is really difficult to answer - I have sooo many and it changes depending on my mood. I am a paper stroker at heart but I love love stamping so really it would have to be my wonderful stamps....
